Inner and outer exile in fascist Germany and Spain: a comparative study
This project will evaluate 바카라사이트 cases of German writers under National Socialism (1933-45) and of Spanish writers under 바카라사이트 Franco regime (1939-75). The research team aims to illuminate 바카라사이트 common features of 바카라사이트 writers from 바카라사이트se two countries and 바카라사이트 shared rootedness of ¡°inner¡± and ¡°outer¡± discourses of opposition to dictatorial regimes. Besides focusing on self-identity, terminology, literary tropes, images and 바카라사이트 uses of history, 바카라사이트 project will draw on archival sources to make previously unheralded works available in English translation and will open up 바카라사이트 field for more interdisciplinary research. As discussions on 바카라사이트se forms of exile have historically been restricted to cases of individual nations, this study is important for espousing a cross-cultural approach to 바카라사이트 many questions around exile.
