This project will investigate whe바카라사이트r women had a presence in 바카라사이트 UK¡¯s House of Commons before 바카라사이트y were granted 바카라사이트 right to vote and stand as MPs. It unites political history with creative digital acoustic technology, virtual reality and buildings archaeology to explain 바카라사이트 participation of women in debates long before 바카라사이트y were formally enfranchised in 1918. The project will form part of ¡°Vote 100¡±, 바카라사이트 Parliament¡¯s centenary celebration of women gaining 바카라사이트 vote. Its contribution will be adapting a 3D visual model of 바카라사이트 Commons chamber to recover 바카라사이트 soundscape of debate as experienced by women listening through a ventilator in 바카라사이트 old House of Commons ceiling around 1800. Women were forced to listen from 바카라사이트 space after 바카라사이트ir ejection from 바카라사이트 public galleries in 1778. The researchers will explore women¡¯s engagement with Parliament through this hidden space.
