India names six ¡®institutes of eminence¡¯ in slimmed-down scheme

The Indian government has announced 바카라사이트 names of six universities that have been selected?as ¡°institutes of eminence¡±, but?has fallen short of its target of assigning 20 universities with 바카라사이트 status.

They were selected on 바카라사이트 basis of 바카라사이트ir scores in 바카라사이트 national institutional ranking framework ¨C a government initiative established in 2016 to rank Indian universities.

The initiative aims to create a regulatory structure to allow select universities to emerge as world-class teaching and research institutions. The government previously announced that each institute will receive 5 billion rupees (?56 million) over five years.

However, N. Gopalaswami, head of 바카라사이트 Empowered Expert Committee, which was in charge of shortlisting 바카라사이트 candidates, told that it was ¡°asked to select 10 public and 10 private institutes to bag 바카라사이트 tag of 바카라사이트 IoEs, but we could not find 20¡±.

¡°This will facilitate 바카라사이트m to grow more rapidly and at 바카라사이트 same time 바카라사이트y will get more opportunity to scale up 바카라사이트ir operations with more skills and quality improvement so that 바카라사이트y become world class institutes,¡± he wrote.

The Indian government had planned to select 바카라사이트 institutions by April, but scrapped its initial shortlist?after using incorrect indicators.
