Koen Lamberts swaps York v-c post for top job at Sheffield

Koen Lamberts, 바카라사이트 vice-chancellor of 바카라사이트 University of York, is to move across Yorkshire to take on 바카라사이트 same job at 바카라사이트 University of Sheffield.

Professor Lamberts will join Sheffield at 바카라사이트 start of November, following Sir Keith Burnett¡¯s retirement at 바카라사이트 end of September.

The cognitive psychologist, who was formerly deputy vice-chancellor of 바카라사이트 University of Warwick, has led York since 2014.

Professor Lamberts, who was born and educated in Belgium, said that he felt ¡°enormously privileged¡± to join Sheffield, which has almost 29,000 students.

Gill Valentine, Sheffield¡¯s deputy vice-chancellor, will lead 바카라사이트 institution between Sir Keith¡¯s retirement and 바카라사이트 arrival of Professor Lamberts.
