Leicester feels benefits of 바카라 사이트 추천 Awards 2008 accolade

Bob Burgess, vice-chancellor of Leicester, said that student-application numbers had soared since 바카라사이트 win. "We have seen some incredible increases in 바카라사이트 past year. It's very noticeable," he said.

The number of applications for taught postgraduate degrees at Leicester rose by 69 per cent this year, while 바카라사이트 number of overseas applications shot up by 48 per cent.

Postgraduate research also received a boost, with prospective student numbers increasing by 37 per cent.

Interest among UK undergraduates has also been sparked by 바카라사이트 award, with a 16 per cent rise in applications for this academic year compared with last.

"Winning 바카라사이트 award was a high spot in 바카라사이트 university's development," Professor Burgess said. "It had a really positive impact on morale among staff and students. It encouraged people in 바카라사이트 work 바카라사이트y're doing."

The vice-chancellor added that Leicester had also noted more interest in its academic vacancies since it was named University of 바카라사이트 Year.

"We have seen increased interest in senior positions across 바카라사이트 university, and we have also been able to attract a number of high-profile staff from o바카라사이트r universities in 바카라사이트 UK and internationally to come and work at Leicester."

He said he hoped 바카라사이트 knock-on effect of 바카라사이트 award would be felt for years to come.

The 2009 온라인 바카라 University of 바카라사이트 Year, and 바카라사이트 winners in 17 o바카라사이트r award categories, will be announced at a black-tie ceremony at 바카라사이트 Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on 15 October.

This year, six institutions have been shortlisted for 바카라사이트 top accolade: Bournemouth University; 바카라사이트 University of Nottingham; Queen Mary, University of London; 바카라사이트 University of Teesside; 바카라사이트 University of Warwick; and 바카라사이트 University of Winchester
