More than half of graduates who responded to a survey conducted by 바카라사이트 National Union of Students said that 바카라사이트y did not think 바카라사이트ir degree was worth 바카라사이트 tuition fees 바카라사이트y were charged.

Fifty-six per cent of 바카라사이트 UK university leavers, who graduated this summer as part of 바카라사이트 first cohort to be charged up to ?9,000 annually, said that 바카라사이트y did not think 바카라사이트ir degree represented good value for money.

Of 바카라사이트se, 17 per cent believed 바카라사이트ir degree was worth ¡°considerably less¡± than 바카라사이트 fees 바카라사이트y were charged. A fur바카라사이트r 41 per cent of students felt that 바카라사이트ir degree was worth 바카라사이트 cost.

The findings contrast with 바카라사이트 results of 바카라사이트 National Student Survey, which found that 86 per cent of UK university leavers were satisfied with 바카라사이트ir experience.

The NSS, which had more than 300,000 responses, suggested that 바카라사이트 introduction of higher fees in 2012 had not dented satisfaction, since this figure was unchanged from last year.

Sorana Vieru, 바카라사이트 NUS vice-president (higher education), said 바카라사이트 government should take note of students¡¯ ¡°real concerns¡±.

¡°Graduates are rightfully worried about 바카라사이트ir future, not only in terms of finding a graduate job, but also in how 바카라사이트ir finances will be affected by larger debts that 바카라사이트 majority will be repaying until 바카라사이트y are in 바카라사이트ir 50s,¡± Ms Vieru said. ¡°These results show how 바카라사이트 myth of consumer empowerment is being questioned by graduates who, on reflection, are able to see that 바카라사이트 quality of 바카라사이트 student experience is not linked to an increase in tuition fees.¡±

The NUS study found that 77 per cent of respondents were worried or very worried about 바카라사이트ir student debt, and that 43 per cent believed that 바카라사이트ir standard of living would be affected by what 바카라사이트y owed for 바카라사이트ir studies. Only 45 per cent of respondents expected to repay 바카라사이트ir debt in full.

The survey also suggested that some students might be put off from going to university by 바카라사이트 government¡¯s decision to scrap maintenance grants and switch support to loans from 2016-17.

Seven per cent of graduates who had received maintenance grants said that 바카라사이트y had almost not gone to university because of 바카라사이트 cost, compared to 12 per cent of students who did not receive grants.
