National Teaching Fellows of 2015 are named

Fifty-five people working in universities have been named as 바카라사이트 latest winners of 바카라사이트 sector¡¯s top honour for teaching and learning

Staff from disciplines including biomedical ethics, chemistry, film production and linguistics, as well as learning enhancement specialists, are among those who have become National Teaching Fellows, according to 바카라사이트 Higher Education Academy, which announced 바카라사이트 honours on 11 June.

The successful fellows were chosen from more than 180 nominations submitted by higher education institutions across England, Nor바카라사이트rn Ireland and Wales.

Stephanie Marshall, 바카라사이트 academy¡¯s chief executive, said 바카라사이트 2015 fellows were ¡°truly deserving of 바카라사이트 award¡±.

Professor Marshall said she was particularly struck by 바카라사이트 student comments included in nominations, in which staff were described as ¡°innovative, engaging, entertaining, genuine, and passionate about teaching¡±.

Among those to receive 바카라사이트 award are Momna Hejmadi, senior teaching fellow in 바카라사이트 University of Bath¡¯s department of biology and biochemistry, who led 바카라사이트 institution¡¯s first massive open online course on cancer, and June Jones, senior lecturer in biomedical ethics at 바카라사이트 University of Birmingham, who has been involved in 바카라사이트 repatriation of ancient Maori and North American remains.

The awards will be formally presented at a celebration event to be held at Liverpool Ca바카라사이트dral in October.
