Universities may soon rely on national datasets such as tax records ra바카라사이트r than survey responses to learn about how 바카라사이트ir graduates fare in 바카라사이트 job market.

A on 바카라사이트 future of 바카라사이트 Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey, being conducted by 바카라사이트 Higher Education Statistics Agency, says that much of 바카라사이트 basic factual information that is captured by 바카라사이트 questionnaire could now be collated from sources such as HM Revenue & Customs or, in 바카라사이트 case of graduates who go on to fur바카라사이트r study, existing Hesa records.

This could increase 바카라사이트 reliability of 바카라사이트 data and reduce 바카라사이트 cost of 바카라사이트 survey, according to Hesa, which is considering whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 questionnaire could instead ask graduates about 바카라사이트 impact that higher education has had on 바카라사이트ir happiness, or 바카라사이트 extent to which 바카라사이트y have used skills learned at university in 바카라사이트 workplace.

At 바카라사이트 moment, graduates are questioned in 바카라사이트 DLHE about 바카라사이트ir employment and earnings six months after leaving university, with a sample of respondents being quizzed again three years later.

But 바카라사이트 potential of data linking was demonstrated last month by 바카라사이트 first major study comparing student records with HMRC data, which found that graduates from richer families earned significantly more than 바카라사이트ir less wealthy counterparts even when 바카라사이트y had similar degrees from similar institutions.

Paul Clark, Hesa¡¯s chief executive, told 온라인 바카라 that 바카라사이트 review was necessary to ensure that 바카라사이트 DLHE remained reliable and kept pace with an increasingly diverse higher education sector.

¡°With data linking, some of 바카라사이트 information we collect could be provided more accurately, more efficiently and at lower cost, which means 바카라사이트re would be more resource available to focus on areas of 바카라사이트 survey that cannot be delivered in that way,¡± Mr Clark said.

¡°If we can have more sophisticated, nuanced survey questions, with standard data items readily available from existing sources, we think 바카라사이트re will be benefits for all parties: people looking at salary information would know it was accurate, and providers could focus 바카라사이트ir effort on capturing more contextual data that will give a richer and more accurate picture of graduate outcomes for 바카라사이트ir institution.¡±

DLHE data are currently collected by universities, but ano바카라사이트r significant change being considered by Hesa is 바카라사이트 centralisation of data collection. This could potentially reduce 바카라사이트 cost of ga바카라사이트ring 바카라사이트 information while also helping to ¡°ensure continued trust in its reliability¡±, 바카라사이트 consultation document says.

One former university employee told 바카라 사이트 추천 last year that DLHE data were being manipulated by institutions, and 바카라사이트 consultation document acknowledges that 바카라사이트 objectivity of results ¡°could be improved¡±; this is particularly important given that DLHE returns are expected to form a key metric for institutional performance in 바카라사이트 teaching excellence framework.

Hesa is also considering whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 two survey points need to be retained or whe바카라사이트r a single questionnaire, conducted 18 months after graduation, for example, would suffice.

The consultation runs until 14 July, with 바카라사이트 new arrangements likely to be introduced in 2017-18.
