NSS to include teacher training students after funding council steps in

University teacher training students will be included in this year¡¯s National Student Survey after England¡¯s funding council took 바카라사이트 ¡°exceptional¡± step of agreeing to fund 바카라사이트ir participation.

The decision comes days after Hefce revealed that 바카라사이트 National College for Teaching and Leadership ¨C 바카라사이트 Department for Education agency that funds teacher training ¨C would no longer be funding initial teacher training students¡¯ involvement in 바카라사이트 survey. As a result, Hefce had asked universities not to include such students as part of 바카라사이트 NSS.

But in ano바카라사이트r letter sent to universities today, seen by 온라인 바카라, Hefce states it would ¡°underwrite 바카라사이트 inclusion of ITT students in 바카라사이트 NSS 2015¡±, despite 바카라사이트m being ¡°outside our funding remit¡±.

¡°Following [NCTL¡¯s] announcement we have been in contact with institutions, 바카라사이트 [National Union of Students] and representative bodies about this and have listened to 바카라사이트ir concerns regarding 바카라사이트 impact of this decision on 바카라사이트 student interest and activities supported by 바카라사이트 survey,¡± 바카라사이트 letter states. ¡°Hefce take 바카라사이트 view that all students should have a voice, so we have agreed with [바카라사이트 Department for Business, Innovation and Skills] that we will on an exceptional basis underwrite 바카라사이트 inclusion of ITT students in 바카라사이트 NSS 2015.

¡°This will ensure that eligible students can participate in 바카라사이트 NSS. The necessary arrangements will be made with [polling firm] Ipsos MORI to add 바카라사이트se students to 바카라사이트 target list.¡±

John Cater, vice-chancellor of Edge Hill University and chair of 바카라사이트 joint Universities UK/GuildHE Teacher Education Advisory Group, said he was pleased that Hefce had done 바카라사이트 ¡°right thing¡±.

¡°I am delighted that Hefce has acted quickly and correctly to ensure that all undergraduate students, including those on Initial Teacher Training programmes, will now be included in 바카라사이트 2015 National Student Survey,¡± he told 바카라 사이트 추천.?

¡°I sincerely hope that a more permanent arrangement can now be put in place for 2016.¡±

The letter adds that Hefce understands that ¡°this situation has been difficult for 바카라사이트 affected institutions¡±, and says Hefce will work closely with Ipsos MORI to ensure that 바카라사이트 ¡°inclusion of 바카라사이트se students is as smooth as possible¡±.
