Paul Boyle to be next Leicester v-c

Professor Boyle, who has led 바카라사이트 ESRC since 2010, will take over on 1 October from Sir Robert Burgess, who is retiring. Professor Boyle is also president of Science Europe and champions international strategy at 바카라사이트 research councils.

He was previously head of 바카라사이트 School of Geography and Geosciences at 바카라사이트 University of St Andrews.

The chair of Leicester¡¯s governing council, Bridget Towle, said: ¡°This is a splendid appointment and a real coup for Leicester.?Professor Boyle has a distinguished academic record and has demonstrated great leadership on 바카라사이트 national and international stage.¡±

She said 바카라사이트 institution had been impressed by 바카라사이트 ¡°depth¡± of Professor Boyle¡¯s insights into 바카라사이트 strategic issues facing 바카라사이트 university and his ¡°lucid analysis¡± of 바카라사이트 current higher education environment.
