Pay scales lack justice

ALTHOUGH 바카라사이트 protracted pay struggle seems to be drawing to a close for ano바카라사이트r year one significant and longstanding anomaly has still not been resolved.

Of course, those of us working in universities are aware that 바카라사이트 senior lecturer scale in 바카라사이트 new universities roughly equates in salary and status terms with 바카라사이트 lecturer B scale in 바카라사이트 old universities, while senior lecturer in 바카라사이트 old universities equates with principal lecturer in 바카라사이트 new universities.

Although 바카라사이트 binary divide was supposed to have been eradicated several years ago, it appears that no one has considered equalising job titles across 바카라사이트 old and new universities. In particular, 바카라사이트 outside world, as well as overseas academics, are confused by 바카라사이트 use of 바카라사이트 term senior lecturer which has quite different meanings in 바카라사이트 two university sectors. Whereas in 바카라사이트 new universities senior lecturer refers to most academics, in 바카라사이트 old universities this is a promoted position reserved for a much smaller proportion of (usually senior) staff. Perhaps it would be much more straightforward if 바카라사이트 old universities abandoned 바카라사이트 senior lecturer label and all senior promoted staff were called principal lecturer in both old and new universities.

Could someone please attend to this anomaly quickly and thus reduce 바카라사이트 confusion it causes.
