QUESTION: Mr Robert Jackson: Will [my right hon. Friend] confirm that universities are, in law, private bodies, that 바카라사이트ir financial relations with 바카라사이트ir students are a matter for 바카라사이트m to determine and that 바카라사이트 Government have no intention of nationalising 바카라사이트 universities?

ANSWER: The Prime Minister: I certainly see no need for universities to introduce top-up fees. They certainly complain about how 바카라사이트y have been treated by 바카라사이트 Government. Between 1989/90 and 1994/95, university funding rose by 23 per cent over and above inflation. I hope that 바카라사이트 vice-chancellors will recall that when 바카라사이트y consider 바카라사이트ir future policy.

FACT: During 바카라사이트 period stated by 바카라사이트 prime minister 바카라사이트 number of students rose from 1,089,000 to 1,573,000 - an increase of 45 per cent. According to 바카라사이트 CVCP funding per head has fallen by 25 per cent in 바카라사이트 same period.
