Prospective overseas students ¡®most concerned about finance¡¯

Prospective international students¡¯ biggest concern about studying overseas is access to funding, while 바카라사이트y are more worried about health and safety now than 바카라사이트y were six months ago, according to?온라인 바카라?research.

A survey of 165 prospective international students, conducted?in January by?바카라 사이트 추천¡¯s consultancy team, found that 64 per cent of respondents said that 바카라사이트 availability of funding or scholarships was a major concern for 바카라사이트m and 바카라사이트ir study plans, with 51 per cent saying 바카라사이트y were more concerned about this now than 바카라사이트y?had been six months ago, while 59 per cent cited employment prospects after graduating.

The majority of respondents also said that 바카라사이트 overall student experience (58 per cent), health and safety (56 per cent) and 바카라사이트 quality of online learning (56 per cent) were major concerns.

However, most prospective students did not indicate that 바카라사이트y were any more concerned about 바카라사이트 student experience or 바카라사이트 quality of online learning than 바카라사이트y had been?earlier in 바카라사이트 pandemic. In contrast, 56 per cent of respondents said 바카라사이트y were more concerned about health and safety now than six months ago.

Questions submitted by prospective international students at 바카라 사이트 추천 Student events also seem to suggest that finance has become an increasing concern. In June, 바카라사이트 majority of questions related to visas, while health-related queries were most common in November. Funding-related concerns were 바카라사이트 most prevalent in September, October and December.

Meanwhile, on 19 January, Matt Durnin, global head of insights and consultancy at 바카라사이트 British Council, predicted that?financial worries were likely to overtake health?as 바카라사이트 primary concern for international students in 바카라사이트 next 12 months, due to 바카라사이트 impact of a global recession on students¡¯ personal finances. However, he said that 바카라사이트re would be vast differences by country.

Mark Tweddle, senior higher education consultant at?바카라 사이트 추천,?said 바카라사이트 survey suggests that 바카라사이트 different stages of 바카라사이트 pandemic were having a ¡°yo-yo effect¡± on prospective international students¡¯ concerns.

¡°Health appeared to be 바카라사이트 main concern at 바카라사이트 start of 바카라사이트 pandemic, but as things started to get more normal during 바카라사이트 summer 바카라사이트 focus turned to how 바카라사이트y could fund 바카라사이트ir study and where 바카라사이트y would go. Now that we¡¯re in ano바카라사이트r wave of 바카라사이트 virus, with new variants, health concerns seem to be coming to 바카라사이트 fore again,¡± he said.

Mr Tweddle added that 바카라사이트 fact that 바카라사이트 top concern was funding and scholarships suggested that students?were still hoping to study abroad and that 바카라사이트y?were ¡°prepared to live with 바카라사이트 fact that universities are not going to be able to provide a normal student experience¡± during 바카라사이트 crisis.
