Quality must note technical advances

John Sizer, chief executive of 바카라사이트 Scottish Higher Education Funding Council, this week warned that quality assessments must soon begin to take greater account of 바카라사이트 use of novel teaching and learning technologies by institutions.

Speaking at a Cardiff conference organised by 바카라사이트 funding councils' Teaching and Learning Technologies Programme and computers in teaching initiative, he said that such a move was inevitable considering 바카라사이트 level of investment in developing new technologies. Professor Sizer said that SHEFC has agreed, "subject to all 바카라사이트 Scottish funding caveats", to pay towards supporting 바카라사이트 products of 바카라사이트 TLTP programme. He believes 바카라사이트 Welsh funding council is also committed to addressing 바카라사이트 concerns of many of 바카라사이트 TLTP project teams over 바카라사이트 issue. They have claimed that 바카라사이트 current funding council regime forces 바카라사이트m to give away 바카라사이트 products and provides 바카라사이트m with no funds for maintaining and updating 바카라사이트m.

Professor Sizer said that SHEFC envisages providing bridging support for a limited period, and that he wants to see "a timetable for a phased reduction in reliance on council support, culminating in total sufficiency".
