Universities UK has confirmed that Sir Christopher Snowden will still be its next president, after a technical error forced it to rerun 바카라사이트 nominations process.

Sir Christopher, 바카라사이트 University of Surrey vice-chancellor, will start his two-year term in August 2013, taking over from Eric Thomas, 바카라사이트 University of Bristol vice-chancellor.

His appointment was originally announced on 2 November after he was unopposed in nominations.

But UUK was forced to reopen nominations after it emerged that not all vice-chancellors had received an email asking 바카라사이트m to put forward candidates.

The rerun came after John Craven, 바카라사이트 University of Portsmouth vice-chancellor, pointed out 바카라사이트 technical error to Nicola Dandridge, 바카라사이트 UUK chief executive.

Sir Christopher may have been slightly anxious over Surrey's recent withdrawal from 바카라사이트 1994 Group throwing up problems in 바카라사이트 nominations rerun.

Four days after he was initially announced as president, Surrey announced it was pulling out of 바카라사이트 1994 Group - 바카라사이트 seventh member to do so this year.

But in 바카라사이트 event, any disgruntlement among 1994 Group vice-chancellors did not provoke 바카라사이트m into a challenge for 바카라사이트 presidency.
