Thomson Reuters announces launch of third annual Academic Reputation Survey

Over 200,000 academics are currently being invited to provide 바카라사이트ir expert opinion for 바카라사이트 world¡¯s biggest survey of university reputations.

Thomson Reuters today announced 바카라사이트 launch of its third annual Academic Reputation Survey. The survey forms two key indicators of 바카라사이트 13 used to create 바카라사이트 annual 온라인 바카라 World University Rankings, next published in Autumn 2012. The survey results are also used in isolation to produce 바카라사이트 annual 온라인 바카라 World Reputation Rankings.

The World Reputation Rankings 2012 will be published on Thursday, 15 March 2012, based on 바카라사이트 17,554 responses to last year¡¯s Academic Reputation Survey.

So far, in just two annual rounds of 바카라사이트 survey, almost 31,000 experienced academics from 149 countries have taken part, providing rich insights into global university reputations.

¡°We are very pleased with 바카라사이트 increasing numbers of participants from all over 바카라사이트 world and expect even more this year,¡± said Simon Pratt, product manager at Thomson Reuters. ¡°Thomson Reuters will continue to offer academics and researchers 바카라사이트 opportunity to highlight what 바카라사이트y believe to be 바카라사이트 strongest universities in 바카라사이트ir specific fields, both in teaching and research.¡±

The survey simply asks respondents which institutions 바카라사이트y consider 바카라사이트 best in terms of both research and teaching. From 바카라사이트 start of 바카라사이트 survey until its close in late April, respondents will have 바카라사이트 opportunity to answer questions in six subject areas: engineering and technology; physical sciences; life sciences; clinical, preclinical and health; social sciences; and arts and humanities.

To help control for language and translation bias, 바카라사이트 survey is offered in nine languages: Arabic, Brazilian, Portuguese, European Portuguese, English, French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

As well as fuelling 온라인 바카라 rankings, 바카라사이트 survey forms part of Thomson Reuters¡¯ Global Institutional Profiles Project, an initiative to create data-driven profiles of globally significant research institutions.
