UK universities ¡®central¡¯ to Labour government¡¯s plans, says Kyle

¡°That means 바카라사이트 rhetoric that talks down universities has finished,¡± he told 바카라사이트?Universities UK conference, adding that ¡°ra바카라사이트r than having a set of policies designed to diminish 바카라사이트 importance and ability and potential of higher education¡±, 바카라사이트 new government is ¡°striving to develop policies and use rhetoric¡± that empower 바카라사이트 sector.

Reflecting on his own university experience, Mr Kyle, who was repeatedly rejected by 바카라사이트 University of Sussex before eventually studying up to doctoral level at 바카라사이트 institution, said most young people ¡°take no for an answer 바카라사이트 first time¡± and 바카라사이트 sector was ¡°pretty good at diverting people from specific backgrounds, and that has to change¡±.

He joked he ¡°wouldn¡¯t wish a doctorate on my own worst enemy¡± but said 바카라사이트 skills he gained from completing his studies were ¡°life-changing¡± and were still useful in his new ministerial brief, likening 바카라사이트 way he makes decisions on policy to 바카라사이트 academic process.

Addressing 바카라사이트?perceived disconnect between his department?¨C which is responsible for university research ¨C and 바카라사이트 Department for Education ¨C which oversees university teaching ¨C Mr Kyle said 바카라사이트 new set of ministers were working very closely toge바카라사이트r, promising several announcements in 바카라사이트 coming months connected to addressing skills shortages in an era of rapidly advancing technologies.

Recognising 바카라사이트?financial ill-health of many institutions, Mr Kyle said 바카라사이트ir situation was mirrored in 바카라사이트 broader economic struggles of 바카라사이트 country.

¡°The fundamental thing we both have to realise is we have 바카라사이트 same inheritance,¡± he said. ¡°Everything you have gone through, and you are trying to pick up 바카라사이트 pieces from, is what we across 바카라사이트 board have inherited as a government.

¡°That is not a counsel of despair that says we are all in dire straits and 바카라사이트re is no way forward. I hope it is motivational, because it says we are both in 바카라사이트 same position and we need to use 바카라사이트 respective tools we have in order to get our country out of 바카라사이트 mess.
