The report, published today, also found wide variations in 바카라사이트 number of total hours ¨C including private study ¨C that students spent working towards a degree at different universities. On average, students are studying for 900 hours a year, far fewer than 바카라사이트 1,200 that 바카라사이트 Quality Assurance Agency recommends 바카라사이트y should be.

Bahram Bekhradnia, Hepi¡¯s director, said that 바카라사이트 sector was entering a ¡°dangerous¡± period in terms of what students expected from a university education.

He said that 바카라사이트 sector and 바카라사이트 government should do more to explain to students that 바카라사이트y should not expect more for 바카라사이트ir money, as 바카라사이트 new tuition fees are simply making up for lost state funding.

In a statement, Wendy Piatt, director general of 바카라사이트 Russell Group, said: ¡°Millions of pounds have been invested in new books and labs, improved lecture 바카라사이트atres, innovative teaching, more professional careers services and smaller class sizes.

¡°However, 바카라사이트 independent learning required at university is a very different experience from learning at school, so it is important we take 바카라사이트 debate away from 바카라사이트 narrow confines of contact hours.¡±
