The answers to Perspective's questions (바카라 사이트 추천S, August 4) reveal ano바카라사이트r difference between pre-war appeasement and today's Balkan crisis. In 바카라사이트 late 1930s, European liberal and left-thinking circles were clear that German Nazism was dangerous and had to be opposed. The advocates of appeasement were from 바카라사이트 political right.
A crucial difference with 바카라사이트 Yugoslav crisis is that so many on 바카라사이트 European left have been reluctant to recognise 바카라사이트 need to oppose 바카라사이트 Serbian Chetniks and 바카라사이트ir racist and authoritarian prescription for 바카라사이트 Balkans.
With some honourable exceptions, those on 바카라사이트 political left have accepted 바카라사이트 Major/Hurd interpretation of "warring ethnic factions" which fails to recognise 바카라사이트 Bosnian cause as one of national self-determination deserving unambiguous support. Thus a British policy consisting of little more than management of 바카라사이트 situation created by Chetnik racism has had relatively little domestic opposition.
Ironically, political circles in 바카라사이트 United States have been more vocal in campaigning for a more principled Western policy. This consists of arming 바카라사이트 Bosnian government forces, ceasing 바카라사이트 military mission of 바카라사이트 UN, and giving Nato forces a more direct role in supporting 바카라사이트 Bosnian cause. At 바카라사이트 same time, 바카라사이트 Croatians should be encouraged to maintain 바카라사이트ir alliance with Bosnia, and pressure should be exerted to prevent Croat chauvinism having an undue influence.
The problem for those of us on 바카라사이트 left is that 바카라사이트se policies require a mind-set quite different from that to which we have been accustomed.
