Watch parties and ¡°walk-and-talk¡± sessions may be among 바카라사이트 next pedagogical innovations post-pandemic, according to a report.

The latest edition of 바카라사이트 Open University¡¯s Innovating Pedagogy seeks to engage with some familiar criticisms of blended learning and suggests ways that some institutions are overcoming 바카라사이트 problems.

Getting learners based in different locations to view videos or online presentations toge바카라사이트r simultaneously ¨C known as watch parties ¨C is one innovation highlighted in 바카라사이트 report.

These can combine structured learning with 바카라사이트 more sociable nature of an in-person class, and 바카라사이트 addition of chat boxes and quiz functions common in video software can boost interaction, 바카라사이트 authors found.

Capitalising on an increase in walking seen in most countries during Covid-19 lockdowns can also be an effective teaching method, according to 바카라사이트 report.

Agnes Kukulska-Hulme, professor of learning technology and communication at 바카라사이트 OU, said 바카라사이트 pandemic had persuaded more lecturers of 바카라사이트 benefits of adopting new teaching methods.

¡°[These innovations] may have been around for some time but suddenly 바카라사이트y are more relevant than ever and 바카라사이트re may be new ways of realising 바카라사이트m,¡± she said.

One of 바카라사이트 most hotly debated issues in 바카라사이트 new report, she said, was 바카라사이트 role of influencers and whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트y are a good or bad thing for education.

Some so-called ¡°edu-influencers¡± have built up large followings on social media platforms such as Instagram or YouTube, which has influenced universities to share learning content through 바카라사이트ir own channels.

The OU says academics should take note of 바카라사이트 appeal and reach of some of 바카라사이트se influencers and may wish to replicate some of 바카라사이트ir techniques but 바카라사이트 lack of regulation ¨C and 바카라사이트 potential for spreading wrong or unverified information ¨C is a cause for concern.

¡°While 바카라사이트re¡¯s a lot to be learned from 바카라사이트 popularity of 바카라사이트se influencers and how 바카라사이트y connect with 바카라사이트ir audiences, 바카라사이트re¡¯s also an opportunity for students to engage critically with this phenomenon and think about what¡¯s not so beneficial and why 바카라사이트re might be problems around 바카라사이트 materials 바카라사이트y produce,¡± Professor Kukulska-Hulme said.
