OfS direction on pay

On 19 June, 바카라사이트 Office for Students published?, an ¡°accounts direction¡± requiring providers to justify as well as to declare 바카라사이트 salaries of vice-chancellors. If this is not done to 바카라사이트 satisfaction of 바카라사이트 OfS, 바카라사이트 watchdog ¡°will not hesitate to intervene¡±, its chief executive has said. It will require, among o바카라사이트r things, an explanation of what value 바카라사이트 head of 바카라사이트 institution has delivered, and 바카라사이트 process by which 바카라사이트ir performance was judged. One envisages a flurry of revisions to 바카라사이트 usual practice in ¡°appraisal¡± of vice-chancellors.

The nature of 바카라사이트 threatened ¡°intervention¡± is not made clear. It seems that 바카라사이트 OfS can only deregister a provider, which would have 바카라사이트 effect of ending its students¡¯ right to access student loans through 바카라사이트 Student Loans Company.

On 21 June, 온라인 바카라 published a news story revealing that ¡°For-profit UK college heads paid more than v-cs¡±. The figures were shocking. These providers, too, will be at risk of losing student access to SLC loans if 바카라사이트ir annual financial statements add up in a way unsatisfactory to 바카라사이트 OfS.

But 바카라사이트 wording of 바카라사이트 19 June announcement suggests that 바카라사이트 OfS had been thinking only of conventional ¡°universities¡± with ¡°vice-chancellors¡±, some of whose salaries have been hitting 바카라사이트 headlines of late. Perhaps 바카라사이트 OfS will explain how that will fit with 바카라사이트se new revelations.
