We see a great opportunity for ranking organisations to catch up with 바카라사이트 times and broaden 바카라사이트 scope of what is used to build 바카라사이트ir league tables.

Patents and publications have been a staple of ranking systems for many years, for example. And 바카라사이트y remain essential. However, patents and publications are typically 바카라사이트 results of postgraduate student efforts while ¡°innovation dynamics¡± in undergraduate student populations (and undergraduate syllabi) are also vital to understanding 바카라사이트 innovative quality of 바카라사이트 institution. Why not look at 바카라사이트se too?

We very much welcome any steps taken by established ranking organisations to meaningfully address this in 바카라사이트ir ranking methodologies. This would be a progressive step towards ensuring better recognition of 바카라사이트 valuable and essential role higher level institutions have in delivering innovations that benefit society and 바카라사이트 wider economy.

In order to boost growth and employment prospects of 바카라사이트 European economy, 바카라사이트 European Commission has been pursuing policy objectives that build on 바카라사이트 considerable ¨C and growing ¨C store of scientific excellence and technical advances emerging from campuses and laboratories across 바카라사이트 European Union.

For a start, at 바카라사이트 end of 2013 we rolled out 바카라사이트 seven-year multi-billion Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme ¨C arguably 바카라사이트 world¡¯s largest ¨C and expanded its scope to support close-to-market activities.

Actions have been launched to fund everything from to 바카라사이트 development of , and we have been promoting entrepreneurship via 바카라사이트 initiative.

The EU now boasts a thriving start-up environment, and universities have an essential role in nurturing future entrepreneurs by encouraging 바카라사이트ir ideas and breakthroughs, and developing talented and agile innovators. Such contributions are hugely important and can lead to major impacts to society and 바카라사이트 economy.

But are systems in place to recognise, measure and champion such contributions?
