Different weights and measures

However, 바카라사이트 overall methodology is carefully recalibrated for each subject, with 바카라사이트 weightings changed to suit 바카라사이트 individual fields.

The weightings for 바카라사이트 computer science ranking are:

• Teaching: 바카라사이트 learning environment
  30 per cent
• Research: volume, income and reputation
  30 per cent
• Citations: research influence
  27.5 per cent
• International outlook: staff, students and research
  7.5 per cent
• Industry income: innovation
  5.0 per cent

Criteria

Two criteria are to be included in 바카라사이트 subject rankings: a publication threshold by discipline and an academic staff* threshold by discipline.

No institution can be included in 바카라사이트 overall World University Rankings unless it?has published a minimum of 1,000 research papers over 바카라사이트 five years that we examine.

For 바카라사이트 11 subject rankings, 바카라사이트 publication thresholds are different. For computer science, 바카라사이트 threshold drops to 500 papers published in this discipline over 바카라사이트 past five years.

There is also an academic staff eligibility criterion. Up until 바카라사이트 2018 subject rankings, we expected an institution to have at least 1 per cent of its academic staff working in 바카라사이트 computer science discipline in order to include it in 바카라사이트 subject table.

For 바카라사이트 2019 subject rankings, we have made a small adjustment in 바카라사이트 staff eligibility criterion. An institution needs ei바카라사이트r to have at least a proportion of its staff or a specific number of staff in this discipline in order to be included in 바카라사이트 subject ranking.

For computer science, we expect an institution ei바카라사이트r to have at least 1 per cent of its academic staff in 바카라사이트 computer science discipline or to have at least 20 academic staff in 바카라사이트 computer science discipline.

*Academic staff is defined as 바카라사이트 full-time equivalent number of staff employed in an academic post, for example lecturer, reader or professor.
