Your role

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will advance next-generation technologies in electric machine drives and power converters. Your research will be tailored to your expertise, spanning from hardware design to system-level optimization and control methods. For &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; AI position, you will develop machine learning models that incorporate physical principles of machine drives and converters. You will also have opportunities to contribute to our open-source computational tools, teach master-level courses, and advise doctoral students. Your background and expertise

For &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; electric machine drives and power converter positions, you should have a recent doctoral degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, or a related field. For &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; physics-informed AI position, a doctoral degree in computer science or applied ma&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;matics is also acceptable. The successful candidate will have expertise at least in one of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;se areas:


	Theoretical understanding and hands-on experience with electric machine drives or power converters
	Control engineering (experience with nonlinear systems is a plus)
	Machine learning and deep learning in context of physical systems


Programming skills are required, with Python experience preferred. A good command of written and spoken English is essential for our international research environment. We value candidates who are collaborative team players, intellectually curious, and open to exploring new research directions. A track record of publications in recognized journals and conferences in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; field is expected.

? Scientific environment

The Electric Drives Group conducts cutting-edge research on electric machine drives and power converters. Our work spans from fundamental modelling and analysis to advanced control design and system optimization. Our specialty is developing embedded control, estimation, and identification algorithms that directly interface with physical hardware. We work closely with industry partners. Our research has led to several methods now used in commercial products. We are part of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Research Council of Finland Centre of Excellence in High-Speed Electromechanical Energy Conversion Systems, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Finnish Center of Artificial Intelligence (FCAI) Special Interest Group in Energy, and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Aalto University Hydrogen Innovation Centre.

The expected starting salary for a postdoctoral researcher is approximately 4,000 €/month and salary will increase with responsibilities and performance over time. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Computer Science and Machine Learning. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. Teaching Responsibilities

Research Responsibilities

We expect &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate, as a research-oriented university faculty member, to significantly contribute to VGU's scientific profile through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of pattern recognition, machine learning (including generative models and neural network architectures), and natural language processing (including large language models). The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable.

Administrative responsibilities

The Public Health Research Center (PHRC) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a Research Assistant Bioinformatician with experience in population genetics and machine learning to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bioinformatics, whole-genome sequencing data analysis and predictive modelling. The role offers &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment alongside epidemiologists, geneticists and computational biologists. 	Diagnostic Radiography:?Radiography involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; controlled use of ionising radiation, radioactive substances and non-ionising radiation to produce diagnostic quality images of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; human body, facilitating &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; diagnosis and treatment of patients (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Dietetics:?Dietetics involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; management of medical conditions and promotion of health through application of food and nutrition. Dietitians provide medical nutrition &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy and implement specific diet strategies for chronic medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association).
	Nursing:?Registered nurses render health services to individuals, families, and communities (Singapore Nursing Board Code for Nurses and Midwives 2018).
	Speech and Language Therapy:?Speech and Language Therapy involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of communication and swallowing disorders (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Occupational Therapy:?Occupational &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment and interventions to work or school, self-care, leisure or play, physical environments as well as cognitive, mental and physical components of function to enable individuals affected by physical injury or illness, developmental or learning disabilities, psychosocial dysfunctions or &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; aging process, to engage in everyday life occupations in order to maximise independent performance of life roles, prevent disability and maintain health (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy:?Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain, injury, or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r physical dysfunction, through &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; use of education, exercise, manual &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy, electro-physical agents, technology or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r treatment for those purposes (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
