We have a vacancy for Waste and Recycling Supervisor to join us as part of our Waste and Recycling Team.

Based at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University’s Highfield Campus you will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Waste and Recycling team. This includes guiding staff and coordinating daily activities for waste collections, external cleaning and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r associated tasks. You will be highly motivated and have prior experience of supervising a team preferably in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; waste management industry or a relevant role. You will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of Health and Safety best practises, being flexible in your approach, have prior experience working in a customer facing role and a strong people management skill. You will need some practical knowledge and experience in a relevant operational discipline, or a skill level equivalent to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; achievement of GCSE (grades A*-C), Level 2 award, certificate, diploma, NVQ.

Project Partners facilitate smooth and efficient project planning, management and delivery, and foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. About you

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced individual with project management experience. Experience of working in HE is also an advantage. You’ll have experience of building relationships and contacts with a wide variety of colleagues and will demonstrate personal credibility when dealing with senior stakeholders. You’ll be able to work autonomously where needed, applying judgement and initiative when managing your workload to meet &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; long-term objectives of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; project.

You’ll have a relevant degree or significant vocational experience, and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; ideal candidate will also have a project management qualification.

Besides financial support, awardees will also receive academic mentorship.?

Upon completion of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Fellowship, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship.

As a Research Assistant, you will support cutting-edge projects in urban science, computational social science, and usability research. You’ll work closely with our team of Principal Investigators (PIs) to design and implement data-driven systems, conduct advanced analyses, and promote sustainable and equitable urban living through digital tools such as CITIESair and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; CITIES Dashboard.
