Edinboro University of Pennsylvania was founded in 1857 as Edinboro Academy. Edinboro University’s main campus is 585 acres close to Lake Erie. A second campus in Erie, named Porreco College, offers certification and associate degrees in vocational subjects such as medical assistance, preschool education and business administration.
