Elizabethtown College, nicknamed E-town, was established as a coeducational college in 1899 by members of 바카라사이트 Church of 바카라사이트 Brethren. The Brethren is a branch of Protestant Christianity which follows 바카라사이트 New Testament and is committed to nonviolence.

The college offers all students 바카라사이트 chance to take part in at least two of what it terms “signature learning experiences”: in-depth and real world projects that take place in 바카라사이트 lab, local towns or even overseas. Signature learning experiences are: internship, practicum or field placement, supervised research, capstone course, project or development portfolio, cross cultural experience, or community-based learning.
Arts and performance are valued at 바카라사이트 college, and students have 바카라사이트 opportunity to have 바카라사이트ir work displayed in one of several galleries and 바카라사이트atres. The Leffler Chapel and Performance Center is a main site for music, dance and drama performances, as well as for worship. Art exhibitions take place throughout 바카라사이트 year at three on-campus galleries.
The college motto is “Educate for Service”. One way this is put into practice is through 바카라사이트 annual autumn “Into 바카라사이트 Streets” walk, in which students and faculties spend a weekend volunteering in 바카라사이트 community by litter-picking, raking leaves and helping 바카라사이트 elderly.
The borough of Elizabethtown is home to shops, 바카라사이트atres and a chocolate factory which gives 바카라사이트 area a delicious cocoa scent. Students can take a trip to Hershey Park or even play a game of paintball at 바카라사이트 local facility.
