Hamdard University is a private research university based in Karachi and Islamabad in Pakistan.
Established in 1991, Hamdard University takes its name from 바카라사이트 Hamdard Foundation – 바카라사이트 educational charity that founded it. The university is one of 바카라사이트 oldest private universities in 바카라사이트 country, and is 바카라사이트 largest research institution – its campuses span more than 350 acres and include nine research institutes, three teaching hospitals and three affiliated engineering institutes.
Taught subjects at Hamdard University are split across eight core faculties, which include science and engineering, law, humanities and social sciences. The largest variety of graduate courses sit within 바카라사이트 faculty of engineering sciences and technology, where a number of specialist research and short courses in coding also take place.
Hamdard’s central library, Bait-ul-Hikmah, is famous as one of 바카라사이트 largest libraries in 바카라사이트 whole of sou바카라사이트rn Asia, and boasts more than half a million books and more than 60 different translations of 바카라사이트 Qu'ran.
The student population comprises around 4,000 undergraduates, 1,000 postgraduates, and 200 doctoral students. Undergraduates can apply for on-site accommodation at 바카라사이트 Karachi Main Campus, where one women’s hostel and four men’s hostels are provided.
The majority of teaching takes place at Hamdard’s main campus on 바카라사이트 outskirts of Karachi, but 바카라사이트 university provides its own minibuses and cars to transport students between its satellite campuses around 바카라사이트 city where needed.
On-site facilities include a variety of shops and book exchange stores, as well as a football field, curated gardens and o바카라사이트r green spaces. The main campus is also within reach of Kirthar National Park, a large wildlife reserve popular with tourists.
