The university sports teams, known as 바카라사이트 Hoosiers, participate in Division I of 바카라사이트 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and have won 24 NCAA national championships in a variety of sports including basketball, swimming and soccer.
There are more than 550 academic programs available to students, including over 200 undergraduate majors. IU Bloomington has 16 degree-granting schools and colleges as well as 바카라사이트 University Graduate School, which has almost 200 academic programs at master’s and doctoral level.

Among notable alumni are co-founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales, composer Hoagy Carmichael, owner of 바카라사이트 Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ernie Pyle, and Oscar-winning screenwriter Steve Tesich, whose film Breaking Away was shot on 바카라사이트 IU Bloomington campus.
