Kabul Polytechnic University is a university of technical and engineering sciences in Afghanistan. It was established in 1963 as Kabul Polytechnic Institute. In 2002 it was granted university status and became Kabul Polytechnic University. The university’s mission is to provide high standards of academic excellence and research innovation.

The centre’s community of researchers collaborate with external engineers and scientists specialising in natural, environmental, social and computer science. They collect and analyse data to provide solutions to real world scientific problems.
