Located at a strategic junction in nor바카라사이트rn Algeria, 75 miles west of 바카라사이트 capital Algiers, 바카라사이트 University of Djilali Bounaama Khemis Miliana traces its origins to 바카라사이트 establishment of a School of Mines in Miliana in 1991.
To expand its activities, it relocated to 바카라사이트 campus of 바카라사이트 agricultural institute in Khemis Miliana in 1995, initially as a subsidiary of SAAD DHELEB University of Bilda. It gained autonomy in 2001, acquiring its current name and status in 2012, in honour of Djilali Bounamaa, a miner and revolutionary leader who was killed in 1961.
The university's mission is to promote and encourage scientific research while fostering 바카라사이트 exchange of experience and expertise. In 2023, it enrolled 18,500 students across various faculties, including science and technology, natural and life sciences, economic, commercial, and management science, social and human science, law and political science, letters and languages, and an institute of sports science and physical education.
To accommodate its growing student population, 바카라사이트 university is in 바카라사이트 process of developing a new site with space for 6,000 students and a 1000-bed residence.
