Vietnam

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Building Construction. Candidates must hold a Master’s or PhD degree in this field or a closely related field and have a strong background in research. Relevant international experience is of advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

In &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of a lecturer, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Architecture Program (ARC). The expected workload for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; in-class lecture conduction is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes).

Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures mainly on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; following modules:

Research Responsibilities

Qualification

Candidates must at least hold a Master’s degree (having a PhD is a significant advantage) with major in Building Construction, or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. About You

In this role, you'll be teaching and mentoring &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; next generation of nuclear medicine professionals while also contributing to research and staying closely connected with industry. As a Lecturer, Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine), you'll play a key part in program delivery, curriculum development, and academic leadership within your area of practice.

You'll be an active member of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; broader medical radiations community, building and maintaining strong industry relationships that benefit both your teaching and student experience. You'll work closely with colleagues in a collaborative teaching environment and keep students and peers up to date with developments in your field. There may also be opportunities to take on course coordination responsibilities, depending on your experience and interests.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:


	Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate level, including online delivery, and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
	Ability to undertake course coordination role.
	Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students, especially on issues related to effective learning.
	Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
	Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
	Excellent interpersonal and communications skills toge&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.


Qualifications

Mandatory:


	PhD in a related field or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience (a minimum of seven years of full-time practice or equivalent for appointment at level B).
	Registration or eligibility to register with AHPRA


Preferred but not essential: Completion of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Essentials in Tertiary Teaching Practice program or equivalent (if &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; appointed candidate does not meet this requirement at time of appointment, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;y will be supported to complete this as a requirement to fulfil &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir probation).

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences is comprised of three Academic areas, Allied Health, Applied Health, and Biomedical Sciences. Discipline of Medical Radiations

The discipline of Medical Radiations contributes to teaching and research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine, in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. The undergraduate program enables graduates to be eligible for registration to practice as Radiographers, Radiation Therapists, or Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Australia under AHPRA.

The program is structured to integrate foundation sciences, clinical sciences, and clinical skills to produce capable graduates who can practice as healthcare professionals with skills relevant to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir stream. There is also a strong focus on Work Integrated Learning to ensure students are exposed to real-life clinical scenarios from &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; time &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;y begin &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir studies within &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; discipline.
