	Academic and/or industrial experience in enhancing environmental sustainability through engineering solutioning and/or sustainability management
	Having a background and interest in one or more fields of engineering, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, building, and environmental engineering
	Experience and knowledgeable in one or more areas of sustainability measurement and management, such as carbon accounting, life cycle analysis, and sustainability reporting
	Motivated to develop and to teach curriculum related to sustainability
	Strong demonstration of interest to develop sustainability and/or engineering solutions through applied research projects


Desirable


	Good knowledge in sustainability-related technologies such as carbon capture, utilization and storage
	Hands on experience in commercial engineering project with sustainability goals

Lingnan Institute of Fur&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r Education (LIFE)?is a self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic programmes including Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma of Applied Education, Applied Learning and part-time professional continuing education programmes to meet &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; diverse learning needs of society.

The appointee is required to (a) perform academic leadership role in programme development and ensure &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; programme quality assurance is in place; (b) carry out programme management and teaching duties in sub-degree programmes, Diploma of Applied Education programmes and Applied Learning courses; (c) administer programme coordination work with stakeholders; and (d) perform any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r duties as assigned.

General Requirements

Applicants should have a master’s degree in related discipline with at least four years’ teaching experience. He/she should commit to teaching excellence, programme development and management, student advising and promotion activities. Preference will be given to applicants in Post (1) who hold professional qualifications CELTA or TESOL or TEFL certificate. Experience in programme accreditation and quality assurance in tertiary education sector would be an added advantage.

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Appointment

The conditions of appointments will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The post will manage links and communications with our partner schools.

The role

The successful candidate will have a background in computer vision, computer graphics, and/or machine learning, with a particular focus on media production technologies. Experience with C++, Python, and PyTorch is required, along with an interest in generative AI.
