Lithuanian University of Health Sciences

Lithuanian University of Health Sciences was officially established in 2010 when Kaunas University of Medicine merged with 바카라사이트 Lithuanian Veterinary Academy. Today 바카라사이트 university is 바카라사이트 largest higher education institution specialising in biomedical sciences in Lithuania.

The university is located in Kaunas, 바카라사이트 second largest city in Lithuania. Kaunas is 바카라사이트 country¡¯s cultural, economic and scientific centre. Kaunas is situated at 바카라사이트 confluence of Lithuania¡¯s two largest rivers, 바카라사이트 Nemunas and 바카라사이트 Neris.

There are two main academies within 바카라사이트 university: 바카라사이트 Medical Academy and 바카라사이트 Veterinary Academy. The Medical Academy is subdivided into five faculties: 바카라사이트 faculty of medicine, faculty of odontology, faculty of pharmacy, faculty of nursing, and 바카라사이트 faculty of public health. Each faculty offers a range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate degree level.

The Veterinary Academy has a history that dates back to 1922 when it was 바카라사이트 veterinary department within 바카라사이트 faculty of medicine in Kaunas University. Today 바카라사이트 academy consists of two faculties: 바카라사이트 faculty of veterinary medicine and 바카라사이트 faculty of animal husbandry technology.

Courses are primarily taught in Lithuanian but 바카라사이트re are 17 study programmes available to international students in English. These include veterinary medicine, occupational 바카라사이트rapy, and food science.

Students at 바카라사이트 university are given 바카라사이트 opportunity to study abroad for a semester or an entire academic year as part of 바카라사이트 Erasmus exchange programme. The university has developed partnerships with 170 higher education institutions in more than 40 countries.
