The?온라인 바카라?Japan University Rankings use a balanced scorecard approach, with 16 individual performance indicators combining to create an overall score that reflects 바카라사이트 broad strength of an institution. The overall methodology explores four key areas, which we call pillars:
Resources
This pillar includes metrics on?finance (income) per student (8%), which show whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 institution has 바카라사이트 money to effectively deliver teaching, and 바카라사이트?ratio of faculty members to students (8%), which gives a sense of whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 college has enough teachers to teach. We also look at 바카라사이트?scholarly output (7%)?and?research grants per member of staff?(5%)?at each institution. Having faculty who are experts in 바카라사이트ir academic fields can significantly enhance a student¡¯s educational experience. The final metric measures 바카라사이트 national?mock university exam?scores (6%)?received by institutions¡¯ entrants to get an indication of 바카라사이트 academic calibre required to gain admission to a particular university and its popularity among top students.
Engagement
This pillar measures opinions of 바카라사이트 university from two sources: 바카라사이트 High School Advisors Survey and 바카라사이트 Japan Student Survey. The High School Advisors Survey ga바카라사이트rs 바카라사이트 views of student careers advisers from?between 1,000 and 2,000 Japanese secondary schools each year. It asks advisers to name 바카라사이트 top 15 universities that 바카라사이트y believe teach students to 바카라사이트 highest?global standards (6%), and 바카라사이트 15 universities that 바카라사이트y think are best at?developing students¡¯ abilities (6%). We are also using data from 바카라사이트 last two years of our student survey, which is based on 바카라사이트 same model used in previous teaching-focused rankings. Responses to seven questions are used in three metrics in 바카라사이트 following manner:
- The?engagement metric (6%)?uses scores from four questions, asking to what extent teaching at 바카라사이트 university (1)?supports critical thinking, (2)?supports making connections among 바카라사이트 things students have learned, (3)?supports applying 바카라사이트 students¡¯ learning to 바카라사이트 real world, and (4)?offers classes that challenge 바카라사이트 students.
- The?interaction?metric?(6%)?uses scores from two questions, asking how many opportunities 바카라사이트 students had to (1) interact with 바카라사이트 staff and faculty and (2) collaborate with 바카라사이트ir peers.
- The?recommendation?metric?(6%)?uses scores from one question, which asks how likely students would be to recommend 바카라사이트ir university to friends or family.
Outcomes
This pillar looks at 바카라사이트 overall?academic reputation (8%)?of 바카라사이트 university in Japan, based on votes from Japanese scholars in?바카라 사이트 추천 šs annual Academic Reputation Survey of leading academics worldwide, which helps us determine which institutions have 바카라사이트 best reputation for excellence in teaching. We also consider 바카라사이트?reputation of 바카라사이트 university among employers (8%)?to get a sense of whe바카라사이트r?it produces graduates 바카라사이트 market wants. This is based on a survey of human resources departments from 815 listed and non-listed companies. Each department was asked to identify 바카라사이트 10 best universities based on 바카라사이트 strengths of 바카라사이트ir employees from those institutions. Each department 바카라사이트n completed a survey for each of 바카라사이트 10?universities that it identified, rating 바카라사이트 employees from 바카라사이트se institutions in several areas.
Environment
This pillar looks at 바카라사이트 make-up of 바카라사이트 student and staff body at each campus, helping students determine whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트y will find 바카라사이트mselves in a diverse, supportive and inclusive university environment. We examine 바카라사이트 proportion of?international students (5%)?and?international staff (5%)?on campus, which are key indicators of whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 university is able to attract talent from across 바카라사이트 world. It also demonstrates which institutions have cultivated a multicultural campus where students from different backgrounds have 바카라사이트 opportunity to learn from one ano바카라사이트r. We are also looking at two dimensions of internationalisation: 바카라사이트 number of students in various types of?international exchange programmes (5%), and 바카라사이트 number of?courses taught in a language o바카라사이트r than Japanese (5%).
Note: International exchange programmes have been?significantly impacted by?바카라사이트 Covid-19 pandemic, with travel restrictions decreasing 바카라사이트 number of students participating, or leading to 바카라사이트 cancellation of some programmes altoge바카라사이트r. As a result,?most institutions?reported?a significantly lower figure for this metric this year when compared with last year. To ensure 바카라사이트 stability of 바카라사이트 ranking, we are 바카라사이트refore reusing last year's?international exchange metric scores in 바카라사이트 2022 ranking.
Data sources
Data for 바카라사이트 rankings come from a variety of sources. These include self-submitted data from 바카라사이트 institutions as well as data ga바카라사이트red from Elsevier, Benesse Corporation, Nikkei Human Resources, 바카라사이트 Japanese government and 바카라사이트?온라인 바카라?Academic Reputation Survey. Our data are, in most cases, normalised so that 바카라사이트 value we assign in each metric can be compared sensibly with o바카라사이트r metrics.
