The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in IC Design and Computer Architecture. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

In &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of a lecturer, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MCS and undergraduate courses in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; CSE bachelor program. The expected workload for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; in-class lecture conduct is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes).

Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; following modules:


	Computer Architecture?
	Hardware Description Languages & Verification ?
	VLSI Design?
	Digital System Design?
	Fundamental courses in related areas?


The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; programs and joint agreement between &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may requires conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects.

The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor’s and master’s &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ses and mentoring PhD students.

Research Responsibilities

We expect &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate, as a faculty member of a research-oriented university, to significantly contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; scientific profile of VGU through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of computer-aided design of ICs & systems, verification, simulation, system on chip and AI in IC design. The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable.

Administrative responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Computer Science Program by participating in administrative, marketing and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r public activities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; program in consultation with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Academic Coordinator of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; study program and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German partner university, namely Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Qualification

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as will experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. O&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r requirements include:


	An outstanding academic record with a focus on IC design and system on chip?or o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r areas closely related to it?
	Proven expertise in design for testability, verification techniques, gate array,?design partitioning and SoC integration of components ??

	Proven teaching experience with strong self-motivation combined with a passion?for teaching and research?

The International Centre for Point-of-Care Testing work collaboratively with national and international partners to improve health care, access to pathology testing, and improve health outcomes.

We have a vacancy for Waste and Recycling Supervisor to join us as part of our Waste and Recycling Team.

Based at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University’s Highfield Campus you will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Waste and Recycling team. This includes guiding staff and coordinating daily activities for waste collections, external cleaning and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r associated tasks. You will be working with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Waste and Environmental Services Manager to deliver a quality service to all buildings and building users across all our academic and residential campuses. The post is offered on a full-time permanent basis.

You will be highly motivated and have prior experience of supervising a team preferably in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; waste management industry or a relevant role. You will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of Health and Safety best practises, being flexible in your approach, have prior experience working in a customer facing role and a strong people management skill. You will need some practical knowledge and experience in a relevant operational discipline, or a skill level equivalent to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; achievement of GCSE (grades A*-C), Level 2 award, certificate, diploma, NVQ.
