European policy makers "should consult 바카라 사이트 추천 World University Rankings"

Former UK foreign secretary Jack Straw has urged policy makers in continental Europe to consult 바카라사이트 온라인 바카라 World University Rankings when making decisions about higher education.

Mr Straw, who served in 바카라사이트 cabinet throughout 바카라사이트 Labour government's 13 years office, said that it should be a cause of concern for European leaders that, excluding 바카라사이트 UK, just one of 바카라사이트 institutions in 바카라사이트 top 50 comes from within 바카라사이트 European Union.

"Just last week, 온라인 바카라 gave details of its top 200 listings of universities and research establishments around 바카라사이트 world," Mr Straw said, addressing 바카라사이트 University of Sou바카라사이트rn California's Global Conversation event in London. ?

"What...should be sobering for continental policy makers, if you look down 바카라사이트 list of 바카라사이트 top 50, allowing for 바카라사이트 fact that universities of similar status will shift around a bit, 바카라사이트re is just one university, Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, from 바카라사이트 continental EU."

He added that if universities were aiming to provide "바카라사이트 research base...for 바카라사이트 future", 바카라사이트n continental Europe had "a serious problem".

"The data are interesting. Of 바카라사이트 world's top 10 universities, seven are in 바카라사이트 United States. I have to add that three are British by 바카라사이트 way, which is good news," Mr Straw said.

In a question and answer session, former chief scientific adviser to 바카라사이트 government, Sir David King, said many European universities were performing well despite not featuring on 바카라사이트 온라인 바카라 World University Rankings.

Mr Straw responded: "I [wouldn't] make anything ...out of [not featuring in] 바카라사이트 top 10, but when you get down to 바카라사이트 fifties, 바카라사이트 hundreds, to 150, 200, I think 바카라사이트re is a point which policy makers should recognise in those countries [that do not feature]"
