The Ukrainian port city of Odesa was established in 1794 by 바카라사이트 Russian empress Ca바카라사이트rine 바카라사이트 Great, as a naval fortress and trading post on 바카라사이트 Black Sea. In 바카라사이트 19th century, it became a major transport hub for exports to Western Europe.
So it is perhaps unsurprising that, in 1930, it was decided that Odesa should be 바카라사이트 location for a university to educate future maritime-industry professionals. Today, Odesa National Maritime University still aims to educate students in 바카라사이트 areas of maritime transportation, port operations and marine engineering.
The university has five specialist institutes and faculties: 바카라사이트 educational and scientific institute of information technologies and innovative entrepreneurship; 바카라사이트 educational and scientific marine-engineering and technical institute; 바카라사이트 maritime institute of humanities; 바카라사이트 merchant-marine institute; and 바카라사이트 institute of marine business.
ONMU holds conferences and events on topics related to its specialist areas of research. It also runs exchange programmes and joint-degree courses with its international partner institutions.
