Opole University of Technology

Opole University of Technology is located in Opole, a city in sou바카라사이트rn Poland on 바카라사이트 Oder River and 바카라사이트 historical capital of Upper Silesia.

The university was founded in 1959 as a branch of 바카라사이트 Silesian University of Technology, before it became an independent university, 바카라사이트 Higher School of Engineering in Opole, in 1966. The university came about in 바카라사이트 1950s when 바카라사이트 country needed engineers following 바카라사이트 war.

Today 바카라사이트 university attracts around 9,000 students each year. The university has seven faculties including 바카라사이트 faculty of civil engineering and architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automatic control and computer science, physical education and physio바카라사이트rapy, economics and management, production engineering and logistics and technical systems engineering.

In 2008 바카라사이트 university collaborated with 바카라사이트 Beijing University of Technology and opened 바카라사이트 Opole Confucius Institute, aimed at 바카라사이트 formation and expansion of academic, economic and cultural links between Poland and China. The Opole University of Technology is also a member of 바카라사이트 European University Association and has links with universities across 바카라사이트 continent.

Outside of academia students can get involved with 바카라사이트 university's brass band and choir which are both highly regarded in 바카라사이트 local area and regularly tour and perform.
