Successful candidates will join?&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;?Business, Communication and Design (BCD)?Cluster?(one of?five?academic?clusters in SIT)?as members of a team of accomplished experts who are passionate about higher education and deeply involved in industry transformation through applied research programmes.

Faculty in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; BCD Cluster?undertake funded industry-relevant research,?teach courses in?Accounting, Air Transport Management, Digital Communications?& Integrated Media, and Hospitality Business,?as well as supervise industry masters and doctorate students in relevant topics. They are also provided paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or spend time attached with industry.

We will prioritise collegial and team-spirited candidates with?ei&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r (a)?an earned?Ph.D.?or equivalent from a reputable university with specialisation in any of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; above-mentioned areas and some relevant work experience, or (b)?extensive industry experience with demonstrated strong technical expertise in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; above-mentioned areas.

The Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Scheme is co-funded by &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Ministry of Education (MOE) and SIT to encourage and support exceptional?Singaporeans who are?interested in pursuing an academic career at SIT.

The Early Career Awards (ECA) are designed to support Singaporeans who have recently completed &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir postdoctoral training and prepare &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;m for an academic career at SIT. This award aims to enhance &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; teaching capabilities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; recipient and help build a strong research portfolio.

Benefits

Awardees may receive research grants to help build a competitive research portfolio. Upon completion of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; award, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship.

Awardees will also be assigned a faculty mentor for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; duration of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; scheme.

	Diagnostic Radiography:?Radiography involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; controlled use of ionising radiation, radioactive substances and non-ionising radiation to produce diagnostic quality images of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; human body, facilitating &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; diagnosis and treatment of patients (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Dietetics:?Dietetics involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; management of medical conditions and promotion of health through application of food and nutrition. Dietitians provide medical nutrition &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy and implement specific diet strategies for chronic medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association).
	Nursing:?Registered nurses render health services to individuals, families, and communities (Singapore Nursing Board Code for Nurses and Midwives 2018).
	Speech and Language Therapy:?Speech and Language Therapy involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of communication and swallowing disorders (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Occupational Therapy:?Occupational &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment and interventions to work or school, self-care, leisure or play, physical environments as well as cognitive, mental and physical components of function to enable individuals affected by physical injury or illness, developmental or learning disabilities, psychosocial dysfunctions or &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; aging process, to engage in everyday life occupations in order to maximise independent performance of life roles, prevent disability and maintain health (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy:?Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain, injury, or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r physical dysfunction, through &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; use of education, exercise, manual &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy, electro-physical agents, technology or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r treatment for those purposes (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).

We have a vacancy for Waste and Recycling Supervisor to join us as part of our Waste and Recycling Team.

Based at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University’s Highfield Campus you will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Waste and Recycling team. This includes guiding staff and coordinating daily activities for waste collections, external cleaning and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r associated tasks. You will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of Health and Safety best practises, being flexible in your approach, have prior experience working in a customer facing role and a strong people management skill.
