RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is located in 바카라사이트 most nor바카라사이트rly of 바카라사이트 United Arab Emirates, 100 kilometres from Dubai and 80 km distant from Sharjah,
Set up as a medical school in 2006, it rapidly expanded to take in 바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r disciplines such as pharmacy, nursing and dentistry. It offers degrees in all four subjects and was also 바카라사이트 first UAE university to offer two-year options in nursing and pharmacy.
The student body is drawn from around 50 different nationalities, and is accommodated in 바카라사이트 residences of 바카라사이트 American University of Ras al Khaima.
The medical school makes use of three RAK hospitals – Saqr, IBOH and Abdullah bin Omian - with a combined capacity of just over 600 beds, plus three primary health centres and 바카라사이트 320-bed general hospital in 바카라사이트 neighbouring Emirate of Fujairah.
Research centres include 바카라사이트 Central Animal Research Facility and 바카라사이트 Translational Medical Disease Centre, investigating 바카라사이트 causes behind a range of diseases. Both were set up in 2018.
