Saint Thomas University, known in Spanish as Universidad Santo Tomás, is a private Roman Catholic university located in Bogotá, 바카라사이트 capital city of Colombia. It is also known as 바카라사이트 University of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Saint Thomas University is 바카라사이트 oldest Colombian university, having originally been founded in June 1580 by 바카라사이트 Dominican Order. Also known as 바카라사이트 Order of Preachers, 바카라사이트 Dominican Order is a mendicant Catholic religious order that was founded by 바카라사이트 Spanish priest Dominic of Caleruega, and approved by Pope Honorius in 1216. Members of 바카라사이트 order are referred to as Dominicans, and generally carry 바카라사이트 letters OP after 바카라사이트ir names.
Saint Thomas University has campuses in Bucaramanga, Tunja, Medellín, and Villavicencio.
The university's flag comprises five horizontal stripes, three green and two white, with 바카라사이트 shield of 바카라사이트 university in 바카라사이트 middle. Its official seal alludes to 바카라사이트 pontifical origin of 바카라사이트 institution, which was mandated by Pope Gregorio XIII, and is used in certificates and diplomas issued by 바카라사이트 university.
