Samarkand State University, established by a government decree in 1927, is situated in 바카라사이트 city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
In 바카라사이트 1920s, it was known as 바카라사이트 Uzbek Pedagogical Institute before being renamed in 1930 as 바카라사이트 Uzbek State Pedagogical Academy. In 1933, upon merger of 바카라사이트 Pedagogical Academy and 바카라사이트 Uzbek State Medical Institute into 바카라사이트 Uzbek State University. Finally in 1961, it was renamed 바카라사이트 Samarkand State University, a name it keeps to date.
