Sulaimani Polytechnic University was originally founded in 1996 as 바카라사이트 Foundation of Technical Institutions. In 2003 it was renamed Foundation of Technical Education in Sulaimani. It was granted university status in 2012 and became Sulaimani Polytechnic University.
The university’s main campus is located in Sulaymaniyah, a city in Iraq.
There are also campuses situated in 바카라사이트 towns of Dukan, Kalar, Halabja, Chamchamal, Darbandikhan and Khanaqin.
The university is organised academically into five colleges: technical college of engineering, technical college of informatics, technical college of administration, college of medical and health technologies, and 바카라사이트 technical college of applied sciences. Each college is divided into different departments, which offer a wide range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate degree level.
The Research Centre at 바카라사이트 university welcomes local and international scholars to carry out research in a variety of fields including software engineering, environmental studies, agricultural science, engineering urban design and city planning, and biomedicine.
In 2014 바카라사이트 university opened its International English Language Centre. The centre provides courses to 바카라사이트 university’s students and staff, as well as members of 바카라사이트 public.
