The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Cyber Security and Privacy. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. Teaching Responsibilities

In &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of a lecturer, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MCS and undergraduate courses in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; CSE bachelor program. The expected workload for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; in-class lecture conduct is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes).

Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; following modules:

The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; programs and joint agreement between &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may requires conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects.

The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor’s and master’s &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ses and mentoring PhD students.

Research Responsibilities

We expect &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate, as a faculty member of a research-oriented university, to significantly contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; scientific profile of VGU through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of network security, cryptography, AI-enabled security, security in software and information privacy. The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable.

Administrative responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Computer Science Program by participating in administrative, marketing and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r public activities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; program in consultation with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Academic Coordinator of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; study program and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German partner university, namely Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Qualification

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as will experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. O&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r requirements include:

As a Research Assistant, you will support cutting-edge projects in urban science, computational social science, and usability research. Required:


	Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

	Data analysis and visualization skills (Python, R, Google Charts, etc.)
	Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Computer Science and Machine Learning. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

In &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of a lecturer, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MCS and undergraduate courses in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; CSE bachelor program. The expected workload for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; in-class lecture conduct is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes). Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; following modules:


	Introduction to Computer Science?
	Introduction to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence?
	Current Topics in Computer Science?
	Statistics?
	Fundamental courses in related areas


The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; programs and joint agreement between &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may requires conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects.

The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor’s and master’s &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ses and mentoring PhD students.

Research Responsibilities

We expect &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate, as a research-oriented university faculty member, to significantly contribute to VGU's scientific profile through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of pattern recognition, machine learning (including generative models and neural network architectures), and natural language processing (including large language models). The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable.

Administrative responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Computer Science Program by participating in administrative, marketing and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r public activities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; program in consultation with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Academic Coordinator of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; study program and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German partner university, namely Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. She or he is also expected to contribute actively to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; academic self administration of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Faculty of Engineering and university by being willing to stand for election to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Faculty Council, Academic Senate and/or o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r bodies.

Qualification

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as will experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. O&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r requirements include:
