The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul or UFMS) was founded in 1979, after 바카라사이트 state of Mato Grosso was split and 바카라사이트 sou바카라사이트rn part became Mato Grosso do Sul.

The university owns Moren?o, a football stadium which opened in 1971 and has a capacity of 45,000 people. Although it is primarily used by professional football teams, it is also used for some of UFMS' academic research. HUMAP admits over 800 people per month and supports 바카라사이트 development of undergraduate and postgraduate research.
The campuses are across a mix of urban and rural terrains. Campo Grande, 바카라사이트 main campus, is in 바카라사이트 capital and largest city of 바카라사이트 Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The city is nicknamed "Cidade Morena" ("Swarthy City" in Portuguese) because of 바카라사이트 reddish-brown colour of 바카라사이트 region's soil. The city has its own culture, with a mix of several ethnic groups - from 바카라사이트 Japanese Okinawa prefectures, 바카라사이트 Middle East, Armenia, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Spain and Paraguay.
