Saarland University, known as Universit?t des Saarlandes in German, is a public university located in Saarbrücken, 바카라사이트 capital city of 바카라사이트 German state of Saarland
The university was established in 1948 in 바카라사이트 nearby town of Homburg with 바카라사이트 support of 바카라사이트 French government and under 바카라사이트 control of 바카라사이트 University of Nancy. Because of its history, 바카라사이트 university offers instruction in both 바카라사이트 French and German languages.

Well-known alumni of Saarland University include physician David Bardens; scientist Susanne Albers; philosopher Karl-Otto Apel; and 바카라사이트 historian Michael Wolffsohn.
Nine academics have been honored with 바카라사이트 highest German research prize, 바카라사이트 Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, while working at Saarland University. They include Joachim Weickert, who won 바카라사이트 award in 2010 for digital image processing; Hans-Peter Seidel, who won it for computer graphics in 2003; and Manfred Pinkal, who won 바카라사이트 award in 2000 for his work on computational linguistics.
