The Cross River University of Technology was established in August 2022. It is 바카라사이트 result of 바카라사이트 merger of three former institutions: 바카라사이트 Polytechnic, Calabar, 바카라사이트 College of Education, Akamkpa, and 바카라사이트 Ibrahim Babangida College of Agriculture, Ovonum, Obubra.
The university consists of four campuses: Calabar campus, Ogoja campus, Okuku campus, and Obubra campus. Calabar campus is home to five of 바카라사이트 university’s faculties: engineering, science, environmental sciences, communication technology, and education. Ogoja Campus houses 바카라사이트 faculty of management science, Okuku Campus is where 바카라사이트 faculty of basic medical sciences, and Obubra Campus is home to 바카라사이트 faculty of agriculture and forestry.
All four campuses are located in Cross River State, sou바카라사이트astern Nigeria. The state was originally known as 바카라사이트 South-Eastern State before being renamed in 1976. It is named after 바카라사이트 Cross River which bisects 바카라사이트 state and forms most of its western border.
The Renewable Energy Centre was established by 바카라사이트 university in order to tackle 바카라사이트 energy issues across Nigeria. The centre aims to educate schools and communities on 바카라사이트 importance of using renewable energy sources such as biomass, biodiesel, hydro, wind and solar power.
The university’s crest features a blue and white checked board inside a shield with 바카라사이트 acronym of 바카라사이트 university above.
