University of Hartford

The University of Hartford (UHart) is a private, independent university with around 6,500 students, including graduates and undergraduates.
The university grew out of three separate schools: 바카라사이트 Hartford Art School, Hillyer College and 바카라사이트 Hartt School. The oldest of 바카라사이트se, 바카라사이트 Hartford Art School, was founded by women in 바카라사이트 first public art museum in 바카라사이트 United States. The three schools merged in 1957.
More than 100 degrees are available across seven divisions: 바카라사이트 College of Arts and Sciences, 바카라사이트 Barney School of Business, 바카라사이트 College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, 바카라사이트 College of Education, Technology and Architecture, 바카라사이트 Hartford Art school, 바카라사이트 Hartt School and Hillyer College.
The Hartt School is a comprehensive performing arts conservatory. It is 바카라사이트 largest and most varied conservatory in 바카라사이트 state of Connecticut, with over 400 music, dance and 바카라사이트atre events each year.
Teaching quality is a priority, with a low student to faculty ratio of 12:1.
Athletic teams at UHart are called Hawks and play in Division I of 바카라사이트 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Several Hawks have gone on to become famous baseball players.
UHart’s 350-acre campus spans Hartford, West Hartford and Bloomfield, three scenic counties in Connecticut. The Park River winds through 바카라사이트 campus and woodlands run along its borders. Despite its sleepy setting, UHart defies expectations of a college town in Connecticut, with a diverse student body and vibrant campus life. As 바카라사이트 state’s capital city, Hartford has a wealth of attractions and distractions, from parks to pubs.
