University of Kelaniya

The University of Kelaniya has a history that dates back to 1875 when a centre of learning for Buddhist monks was created. In 1959 바카라사이트 centre became 바카라사이트 Vidyalankara University and in 1978 it was renamed 바카라사이트 University of Kalaniya.

As its name suggests, 바카라사이트 university is located in Kelaniya, a city in 바카라사이트 Western Province, Sri Lanka.

There are seven faculties within 바카라사이트 university: faculty of science, faculty of medicine, faculty of social science, faculty of humanities, faculty of commerce and management, faculty of computing and technology, and 바카라사이트 faculty of graduate studies. Each faculty is divided into a number of departments, which offer both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.

The University of Kelaniya is committed to developing research in 바카라사이트 areas of commerce, management, humanities, medicine, science and social sciences. Research is published in several journals including 바카라사이트 Journal of Business and Technology, 바카라사이트 Journal of International Studies and 바카라사이트 Journal of Social Statistics.

The university is home to a number of centres that facilitate academic and scientific research throughout 바카라사이트 year. These include 바카라사이트 Centre for Gender Studies and 바카라사이트 Centre for Sustainable Solutions.
